Living amidst a beautiful natural environment, we grow organic vegetables, raise chickens and ducks, and enjoy the company of like-minded friends. Though we come from different places and are not related by blood, we are true bosom friends who share the same beliefs and values. Our understanding, support, praise, and care for each other make our community life full of love, harmony, and joy all the time.
Our dining room, built near the water, faced a problem when the river eroded one side of its foundation. Huiguang rescued and strengthened the foundation using cement, saving the house. Besides that, Huiguang also fixed the wooden stairs on the pavilion and the trellis in the garden. Our clever and skillful construction and maintenance member are essential for Thailand branch!
In Chiang Mai, July and August have the most rainfall during the rainy season. We helped Abbot to plant bamboos by digging and moving soil to create small hills. We also planted beans, cucumbers, and watermelon seedlings in the vegetable garden, hoping they can survive the rainy season.
Following the new life model of Lifechanyuan, we added learning courses twice a week on the 800 values for new era human beings. We share what we've learned and how we can improve based on our own experiences in community life and personal growth. This way, we broaden our thinking, inspire our spirituality, and grow together,which also helps foster deeper understanding and love among our community members!
