On the 26th, 27th, and 28th of this month, Thailand celebrates its traditional Water Lantern Festival. At the invitation of Abbot, on the morning of the 27th, we dressed in white attire to participate in the festive activities at the temple. On the first floor of the temple, representatives from the town's schools, bands, ethnic minorities, and various organizations gathered in elaborate costumes. Villagers set up stalls with offerings of snacks to share with everyone. We enjoyed traditional dances, indulged in various delicious snacks, and lent a helping hand wherever needed. The morning was filled with excitement, and in the afternoon, we returned to our garden to continue our rustic life. In the evening, we immersed ourselves in the local customs, walking together to the riverside celebration center to release water lanterns and sky lanterns. Each member took this opportunity to make beautiful wishes and blessings.
During these days, we collectively helped workers plant small saplings, watering them with care. Today, an American girl came to experience our new life, and our chef Yulin prepared a sumptuous feast.
