Mission Statement
Separating for a society and system that is oppressive and built on pitting us against each other. Black vs white, Gay vs Straight, Muslim vs Christian, etc. We are a community coming together as humans to unite and build a better tomorrow.

Community Description
Welcome! Alkebulan Community is a group of African-centered families living and working in Middle Georgia. We are focused on black empowerment, ownership, and restoring our people to our rightful place in the world.

We exist to show our people throughout this country and abroad, that we can create a thriving space for us and by us. We live on land that is owned by black people, we grow our own food, create our own enterprises, and live in harmony with each other.
We are what the future of our people looks like, and we exist to be a model for communities all around the globe.

We also welcome people of all racial backgrounds who are tired of living in a system that was designed to put one race above the other. Our mission is to live in harmony and to fight a common enemy together. We will not turn away someone because of the color of their skin. If we did that we would be no better than the people and system we want to separate from. It doesn’t matter what your racial background is, if you feel the same way as us then you are welcome. We our an African-centered community and most of our events and education will be centered on teaching and reconnecting our people who have lost their identity due to centuries of slavery and oppression in this country.
