The lotus that were transplanted in front of the pavilion have grown and created a vibrant lotus pond. The blossoming lotus flowers add a touch of enchantment, while raindrops glisten on the lotus leaves, fish swim happily in the water.

In recent days, Yang Le, accompanied by Qu Dan and Jiao E, collected a large amount of weeds and covered several eggplant and vegetable fields. They add fertilizer to some field beds, where long beans, Chinese kale, and corn were planted. To expand the vegetable planting area, the three of them tilled soil, mixed in fertilizer, and planted loofah and winter melon seeds on a higher ground by the large grassy area.
In addition to working in the vegetable garden, they also extended their efforts to clean and beautify the garden. They cleared away old wood and cleaned up debris around the river and in front of the stable. Yangle mowed the lawn and significantly improved the appearance around Hui Guang and Yang Le's living quarters.
