Our Malaysian friend, Alex brought his family to visit the Second Home last Friday and they stayed in the First Branch for five days. Alex learned about the Second Home from this English-language website in January, and has been participating actively on our forum for nearly ten months. Although he has not read all of the articles and values, he shares our most important core values which are to revere the Greatest Creator, revere nature, and revere LIFE. Alex is a cheerful man and is very open minded. Before he came to the Second Home, he had been to Zegg in Germany, Auroville in India, and to a community in Thailand. He has been pursuing this kind of meaningful life for a long time and hopes to share a community life in the future.
Although it was a short stay of only five days, Alex said he liked the lifestyle of the Second Home very much and that he hopes he can visit us again in the future. Alex loves nature very much and said that he loves touching the soil and working with nature. As the rainy days forced him to work inside the kitchen a lot, he brought a lot of cheer and laughter to the kitchen staff.
Alex’s wife, Xiao Rong is a gentle and easy going lady and she and I enjoyed talking to each other very much. Their children, Stewart and Alicia are lovely and adorable, everyone liked them very much.
Thank you very much Alex and Xiao Rong, having you here was wonderful, your family brought cheerful energy to us!
