The Beyond Community
Located in Minbun, Queensland, Australia
Mission Statement
The key objectives at present are to build ever more sustainable and joyful lifestyles, by increasing our self-sufficiency and sharing mutual goals that empower us individually and collectively.
Community Description
The ‘Beyond’ Community gracefully appreciates how privileged we are to have a piece of paradise and share a desire to live in peace and harmony with Mother Earth and Father Sky.
Our small community is located on a beautiful 200 acre property in the hills above Cairns and the Coral Sea, in tropical North Queensland (North-Eastern Australia). We are surrounded on three sides by rainforest wilderness with hundreds of waterfalls which we access, and magnificent views of the picturesque Atherton Tableland and Queensland’s highest mountains.
Our community is forming and looking for people with energy, ideas and resources that would like to help build and share the benefits of living in an intentional community in one of the most beautiful and abundant places in our planet.
The key objectives at present are to build ever more sustainable and joyful lifestyles, by increasing our self-sufficiency and sharing mutual goals that empower us individually and collectively.
We have experimented with community over the past decade and are keen to keep evolving the processes we have found to be most beneficial in coordinating and harmonising our activities and aspirations.
The ‘Beyond’ Community seeks to build strength and resilience through diversity, with an emphasis on mutual respect, collaboration, and self-realisation.
We have established large organic gardens, orchards and native forests.
It is possible to visit us as a ‘helper’ or ‘guest’ should you wish to see your haven for yourself.
