Daily Life and Sharing of Flowers and Vegetables  in Canada Headquarters

Huiyi Celestial

September 10, 2024

August is the busiest month of the year in Canada Headquarters. I usually wake up at 5 a.m. to prepare breakfast for the guests. After a two-hour rest at noon, I spend the afternoon mowing the lawn, watering flowers, and handling various indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks. After dinner, I work until around 8 p.m., then take a shower, browse online, and go to bed.

Tongxin starts administrative tasks early in the morning, followed by clearing trash and cleaning guest rooms. Once the rooms are tidied up, she begins welcoming guests. Often, she’s still answering calls during meals, dealing with requests like adding beds or arranging dinner. Sometimes, she has to wait late into the night for guests to arrive. It’s a job that requires constant attention. She also quietly manages the tasks of our holiday retreat and other details unknown to us. Tongxin mentioned that our August revenue exceeded CAD 26,000, equivalent to approximately RMB 135,000, with a per capita income of RMB 45,000. Isn’t that impressive?

Xinrui not only prepares lunch and dinner for us but also launders and organizes towels and bed linens for the guest rooms. Occasionally, she cooks dinner for guests and helps me prepare breakfast during busy times. Whenever she finds a moment, she rushes to the vegetable garden to water, fertilize, and harvest the crops. After returning, she folds the freshly washed and dried towels neatly for the next day. Often, she works until past 11 p.m., making her the happiest celestial of Canada Headquarters. Xinrui has become increasingly skilled at gardening. The vegetables she grows are more than enough for us, including shepherd’s purse, pea shoots, spinach, bok choy, lettuce, green beans, zucchini, cauliflower, Chinese chives, garlic sprouts, gourds, tomatoes, chili peppers, ridge gourds, pumpkins, and mustard greens. This summer, we didn’t need to buy vegetables from the store at all.

Now, please enjoy the flowers and vegetables  in Canada Headquarters.
