The Thai Home: A Heaven of Love and Warmth

With the concerted efforts of family members, the construction of the Thai Home has been progressing passionately and efficiently. The main gate at the entrance has been completed, warmly welcoming those who step from the mundane world into this idyllic paradise.

Next, everyone worked together to lay bricks and build walls, successfully completing the enclosing walls of the main hall. Roumei is now adding the finishing touches by smoothing the walls with cement. On one side of the main hall, four newly built rooms have rapidly taken shape, ready to welcome more family members. Thanks to Foyi's ingenious design, the structure of the restroom and kitchen underwent a thoughtful transformation. A brand-new steel tile roof was installed, naturally blending with the roof of the main hall. The wooden wall connecting the kitchen to the main hall was also removed, making it easier to move between the two areas.

Around the vegetable garden, bamboo fencing was put up. Afterward, Foyi led everyone in sifting sand and mixing cement to pave a clean brick pathway, perfect for  members to stroll and chat under the moonlight among the flowers. As a gesture of respect and gratitude to Abbot, Foyi worked overtime with Yulin to prepare a hearty breakfast for Abbot and the temple monks. This heartfelt meal not only showcased their exceptional culinary skills but also earned praise from the monks.

Recently, the Thai Home has become even livelier, welcoming several visitors. Stav from Israel, Angel from the Philippines, and Julian，Antonella from Italy,  all arrived one after another. Albert, an old friend from Singapore, also revisited with two companions. Surprisingly, a television station from Singapore reached out to the Thai Home to interview members holding retirement visas. Baichuan, Yulin, and Roumei warmly received them and shared stories of their beautiful life in the Thai Home.

Additionally, brother Lanka returned to the Thai Home from Sri Lanka after a year to reunite with brothers and sisters. To welcome Lanka, the community organized a cozy bonfire party, where laughter and songs lit up the night, filling everyone with the warmth and joy of home.

The Thai Homeland, nurtured by love and hard work, is radiating an even more enchanting charm.
