First, we must understand that we enter the second home only for two purposes. One is to have a joyful, pleasant, free and happy life; the other purpose is to sublimate life so as to enter the Thousand-year World, Ten Thousand-year World, Elysium World and its Celestial Island Continent. We come to the Second Home not to rig up a political organization, a religious organization, an economic organization, or organizations of any other forms. We do not come into the Second Home to cotton up to any one or to form a clique. We do not come here create a sensation so that others might look at us with new eyes. We do not come here to create a stir. We do not come here to labor for something that holds good for all time. We do not come here to find love. We do not come here to seek rank and wealth. We do not come here to philander with women. We do not intend to engage in personality cult. We do not come here to show off our wisdom and talent. We do not aim at a fame that shines through ages. We do not come here in order to evade from worldly troubles or to spend the remaining years. Secondly, you should understand that you are a traveller, but other Chanyuan celestials are also travellers. Xuefeng is the guide. Tourists must follow the guide. Tourists come from all over the world. Tourists meet each other temporarily only because they happen to visit the same scenic spot at that particular time, they do not intend to form any special long-lasting relations. You should do well what you should accomplish, and it does not concern you even if others loaf around and fuck off, even if others stay up all night and fool around outside, even if others live a life of extravagance and luxury, or even if others break laws and commit crimes. The guide and the director shall address these problems. All that you should take care of is how to pay off your debt, how to accumulate your merit and virtue, and how to sublimate the quality of your life. You should not make a comparison with them. This requires that you should follow the footsteps of luck, and that you should not build special relations. Why should you form special relations? If you seek special relations for the sake of love, then go back to the secular society, which is a place to form special relations and provides the environment for special relations. Only if one takes care to perfect his or her garden of soul, improve the nonmaterial structure of LIFE, and transform the consciousness of man into the consciousness of celestial beings and buddhas, can he or she accomplish real art and skill and cultivation. |
