The Watermelons, Tomatoes, Pipes, and Turnips of “Blue Sky” Xuefeng (Translated by Tongxin and Edited by Kaer) When we arrived at the Farmer’s Hotel and the “Blue Sky” campsite, we grew vegetables first. Weixia celestial was responsible for planting vegetables at “Blue Sky”. From around one month ago, we began to have enough vegetable to eat. Now there is much more：beans, cucumbers, coriander, Chinese cabbage, radish, water spinach, turnips, and wild Huihui cai as well. As much as we can have! For now, tomatoes and pipes are more than enough. As long as we continue our improvements, we will have all kinds of vegetables, plus chicken eggs and more tasty duck eggs are soon to follow. This post is for everybody to check out the big watermelon grown by Jiaoe celestial. It is as plump as her round butt. See the tomatoes grown by Weixia? They are as big as her “bun”, looks great! As for the big turnip of her field, we don’t know who it likes most, it is just super big. Ripe red pears are everywhere. We cannot finish all of them. They fall down faster than we can collect them. We have prepared thirty baskets and plan to pick the pears up and store them for the Spring Festival. 2015-08-13
