Continuing the peach-picking season, welcoming the "Red Sunset " hundred-person tour Written by Huanxin Celestial December 7, 2023 In mid-July, we welcomed the local " Red Sunset" tour group, consisting of about 100 people, mostly in their 60s and 70s. They are usually living alone or with a spouse, and their children are busy with work. So whenever they have the opportunity, they want to come out and join in a collective activity to relax. They have a tour leader to experience the fun of picking peaches on the mountain by themselves and spend a day in our villa for accommodation, meals, and entertainment. Some sing karaoke, some dance, and some play poker and mahjong. It seems that most of the elderly guests who come are used to inviting ten to twenty people or more every once in a while, mostly familiar people or neighbors and classmates nearby. They plan a day to go to the farmhouse together for meals and accommodation, sharing expenses equally, enjoying leisure and entertainment, and experiencing life. Among them, there are frequent return visitors who have been here two or three times. Some people say that the air here is very fresh, the environment is clean and tidy, the accommodation conditions are much better than before, and the food is delicious. Our service attitude is also quite enthusiastic, so when they have nothing to do, they like to call ten or more friends to come and have fun. This reminds me of the elderly residents who once lived in the Second Home of Lifechanyuan. They spend their days with dozens or even hundreds of young or middle-aged residents, living, learning, working, and playing together. Life is colorful, and it is difficult to feel lonely. The community holds a singing and dancing performance, entertainment event every month, and everyone can showcase their talents and youthful vitality on stage. There are various fun games, and playing and joking, everyone seems to go back to childhood, becoming like children, laughing happily and playing joyfully. Because we all follow the same philosophy of life, our hearts resonate, and there are no worldly troubles. With a well-operating paradise program, the elderly can relax and enjoy every beautiful moment in the community during their later years. Photos of the Youthful Home were taken in July 2023.
