The Affecting Home
Series of Reports on the Building of the 4th branch (2) — August 2011 The Affecting Home Xuefeng August 31, 2011 (Translated by Tongxin and Edited by Kaer) I was very touched these days by the kingdom of the Greatest Creator — the entire communist community — the Second Home, especially by the spirit and passionate labor of the first eighteen brothers and sisters who began building our Fourth branch. They live together in several limited rooms, eat their meals without tables, and have no bathrooms, yet under such conditions they opened a half-mu vegetable field in only twenty days. Now the vegetable seedlings have just come out. They have also fixed four wooden houses, transplanted a row of eucalyptus plants, carried dozens of carts of sand, and they will start to build a bathroom, firewood room, tool room, wash basin, and rebuild a toilet and a kitchen. Before long, they will start building sixty-eight bedrooms and a hall, and reclaim many new fields to plant the eastern magic fruit - the celestial fruit. Early each morning, they start their day’s work. Whether under rain or the blazing sun, they never stop working, especially six young girls and several youngsters. They get sunburned but never complain and work with smiles on their faces the whole time. Another several Chanyuan celestials who devoted a lot to the building of the First branch joined in this new building. They worked hard the whole day but had to wash with a flashlight in a tent at night. Their food was quite simple: steamed bread, rice, and fried greens, while no one complained at all. The Fourth Branch of the Second Home is surrounded by green mountains and clear rivers with a white lingering mist. There are no factories, schools, towns, or villages within seven or eight kilometers. When the night falls, it is very serene. Only the sound of insects, the singing of birds, and water flowing down a stream can be heard. We will build a heavenly home here, and I have drawn the whole blueprint in my mind. The clean, shining stream will flow through and around this paradise, a 180 meter-long road will be shadowed by green bamboos, a spacious party and game hall will be available to hold parties for more than two-hundred (200) people, sixty-eight (68) spacious, bright, and exquisite bedrooms with wash basins, showers, toilets, closets, and paths separating the bedrooms spread quietly and gracefully between each other. Each bedroom will hide behind green trees and colorful flowers. Also, we will build an eight-celestial house, set up an eight-angle pavilion in the middle of a thirty-six meter-long platform, build up eight rooms facing eight directions according to eight-diagrams, plant bamboo around the eight rooms, and precious flowers and grass in the area between the pavilion and the eight rooms. Living in the Second Home, I can feel nothing but happiness every day, looking at our hard-working brothers and sisters, I find them to be just like the celestial beings in the Thousand-Year world. They build happily every day, turning this heavy work into joy. I am deeply moved by them and always thank the Greatest Creator for letting me live in the Second Home with such a group of angelic people.
