The Drinking Water of the Second Home Does Not Exceed the Standard

Xuefeng

April 26, 2014

(Translated by Conglong and Edited by Kaer)

I wrote an article on April 5'th, “Chanyuan Celestials Strive for Survival and Drink the Bitter Carcinogenic Water”, but the bitter carcinogenic water mentioned in this article was based on its taste and with local rumors. However, we sent the water to the government water testing center, and the results showed that the water from one well was five indexes below the standard level, while the water from the other well was six indexes below the standard level. But the good thing is that a level eight index is normal for the water of both wells. This means that our water is drinkable and will not cause cancer directly.

There are three indexes are relatively high, the table below compares the levels of sulphates, chlorides, and soluble solids in our wells with those normally considered acceptable for drinking water in China:

--------      Sulphates      Chlorides    Soluble Solids
Standard     250mg/litre    250mg/litre    1000mg/litre
1'st Well    621mg/litre    471mg/litre    1740mg/litre
2'nd Well    558mg/litre    406mg/litre    1370mg/litre

There are no significant problems for chroma, turbidity value, PH value, total hardness, or oxygen consumption in any of our water. Although the turbidity value of the water in one well is three times the standard limit, the water will not cause disease and it is perfectly safe to drink after sedimentation.

Thank you for all those who care about the health of the brothers and sisters of our community. Please do not worry because our dirinking water does not exceed the government drinking water standards and is ok to drink.
