Celebrating the Spring Festival in Thailand: Outing and Festivities

Amidst the busy yet joyous preparations, our group of siblings finally bid farewell to the last day of the Lunar New Year eve. With the freedom to plan our time on the first and second day of the new year, it was the perfect opportunity to unwind. A few of us managed to find time to watch the recommended movie "The Wild Geese" suggested by spiritual guide. On the evening of the second day, Abbot returned from Chiang Mai and invited us to join a temple event at the hot springs grand Buddha statue on the third day.

Early in the morning, the twelve of us arrived at the hot springs. As it turned out, there were devotees coming to the temple for the festival, and we assisted them in arranging offerings. Sisters joined the locals in helping lotus buds bloom, a delightful task that brought us immense joy. By 11 a.m., after completing our meal, we sought Abbot's permission to present a dance performance for him and the guests. Abbot gladly agreed. Sisters, adorned in white gowns, once again performed gracefully, showcasing dances such as "Heavenly Palace," "Do You Know," "Rainy Yangzhou," and traditional Thai dances. The exotic performances captivated the audience, including the little monks, who couldn't take their eyes off us and showered us with praises. Abbot also expressed his appreciation, commending us for our excellent performance. We were delighted to share joy and auspiciousness to everyone present.

After the dance, Abbot distributed red envelopes to the dancing sisters, and we all took a group photo together. On our way back home, we took a detour to explore the charming town of Frankfurt and a dreamy temple, capturing numerous beautiful moments and scenes. Please enjoy the photos.
