Dragonfly Community

Located in Wasilla, Alaska, United States

Mission Statement
Together, We Prepare, Survive and Thrive.

Community Description
We have created a modern community facility mimicking nature by using selected appropriate technologies and incorporating alternative energy sources to produce an abundant of organic foods and comfortable living conditions.

Community members enjoy individual domiciles, with modern living conditions taking advantage of being able to spend private time by ones-self or with one’s family. Living quarters all come together at a grand central complex where community members can gather in a central park to involve themselves in community group projects or share fun times. During holidays and special events we eat meals in the community dining hall.

We are a conservative, non-profit organization. Community members are varied in age, sex, religion, diet, race, career, education, etc. There is no smoking, gum chewing, drinking or drug use allowed on site by community members.

We are a cohesive group of like-minded singles, couples, elders, teens and children that by unity have come together to prepare for the coming times of financial hardship and cataclysmic events that could challenge our civilization as we know it today – sharing knowledge, skills, resources and labor to ensure our future and well-being.

We are looking for sound, responsible, service-minded individuals for a variety of on-site tasks including maintenance, farm work (animal care and agriculture), educating the young, doctors, permaculture, mechanics, electrician, dental, security and general duties to take care of daily business, all professions and skills are accepted.

All faiths, cultures and individuals who are passionate about preserving life and taking care of day-to-day operations are encouraged to join.

We only accept well socialized dogs and birds upon approval of Behavior Assessment Testing, all other pets are accepted and welcomed.
