Summer to Autumn Scenery of Lifechanyuan Headquarters

It’s been a while since Huiyi last shared pictures of the vegetables and flowers from the Headquarters, so today I’m making up for it. Here, among the four seasons, winter lasts the longest, followed by summer, with autumn being the shortest. Spring is only about one to one-and-a-half months long, from late April to early June. When spring arrives, tender green buds emerge shyly from lawns, trees, and flowers. Driving along the roads lined with spring scenery, the vibrant greenery brings life to the landscape, marking the earth's awakening after a long winter slumber.
By June, the little plants grow quickly, changing from tender green to lush emerald. This year, we had more than a dozen rainfalls, leaving everything verdant and full of life. However, in July, the rain suddenly stopped, leading to drought and forest wildfires. The lawns turned yellow due to dryness, and we had to follow the government's water-saving measures, even sticking to strict schedules for watering flowers and plants. In August, the rain returned, though less frequently than in June. With increasing humidity, wildfires were gradually brought under control.
By mid-September, autumn sets in. Overnight, the leaves seem to be lightly gilded with gold. The row of poplars along Lover’s Lane, once lush with green leaves, quickly turns yellow. When the leaves are fully golden, they shimmer beautifully under the sunlight, creating a romantic and serene atmosphere. I think autumn scenery is the most beautiful, perhaps because it marks the end of a busy summer. It’s a time when we can slow down, relax, and truly appreciate the beauty of the golden autumn landscape.
Autumn only lasts for about three weeks. As temperatures drop, the leaves fall quickly, making autumn fleeting. The golden landscape painted lightly by the autumn palette soon transitions into winter. When the poplar leaves by the lake fall completely, it’s a clear sign that winter has officially arrived.
The photos span from summer to autumn. The earlier ones were taken in July and August, and as the colors change, you can see the arrival of autumn. The full moon picture was taken on Mid-Autumn Festival. On that day, we prepared four fruit platters, and Xinrui even made mooncakes (though I forgot to take a picture of them). We also lit up the entire main building with colorful lights to celebrate the festival.
During the busy summer, the work pace was fast, almost like a battlefield. With the hot weather, there wasn’t much time to focus on appearances. After work, we had to quickly tidy up, change clothes, and always be ready to welcome guests. Since my room’s large glass window faces the main entrance of the Headquarters, I couldn’t leave my post easily, which is why I didn’t take many pictures. In the future, I’ll try to take more photos of our work life. I’ll even find the selfie stick so we can take group selfies together!
