Receiving Five Visitors and Bidding Farewell to Jiao’e and Maidi

Recently, the Thailand Home welcomed five visitors: Cody and Ashlyn from the United States, Sophie from Austria, and Malena from Argentina—who had visited us before—this time bringing along her friend Andy, also from Argentina.

It was Cody and Ashlyn’s first time experiencing life in a pastoral community. They found it novel and joyful to work in the vegetable garden and kitchen, enjoying the beauty and tranquility of nature as well as the warmth and friendliness of the brothers and sisters in the Home. However, they found it difficult to adapt to the simple living conditions. After three days of experience, they said their goodbyes.

Sophie from Austria also left early to reunite with friends in Chiang Mai.

Jiao’e received a tourist visa to Canada, and on the 8th of this month, she flew together with Maidi to the Headquarters and resort in Canada. In the days before their departure, everyone gathered to make dumplings and cherished the warmth of our time together. On the eve of their departure, the Thailand Home hosted a musical evening featuring steamed buns. After enjoying a delicious meal of buns and pies, everyone sang heartfelt songs to bless and send off the two dears. Amid gentle sorrow, there was more joy, congratulations, and well wishes.

As the saying goes, “When one fulfills their duties, the fruits will naturally come.” Through her persistent effort, dedication, and contributions—rooted in firm belief and outstanding character—Jiao’e successfully opened a path from the Thailand Home to the Canadian Home. The example she has set inspires and encourages us all to continue purifying our souls, cultivating ourselves with unwavering faith, and marching forward with hope and confidence toward a more beautiful life and future.

Malena, still radiating her vibrant smile and bringing passion and joy through her expressive and free-spirited dance, stayed with us for six days before continuing her spiritual journey to Indonesia.

Andy, born into a Catholic family, has spent over a decade studying the wisdom of Buddhism and Hinduism. Through practicing yoga and meditation, she has been seeking spiritual elevation and ultimate truth in both life and practice. During her stay in the Thailand Home, she read The 800 Values for New Era Human Beings and participated in soul purification classes. Although some of the values challenged her existing spiritual understanding, she expressed her willingness to continue reading the 800 Values and the theories of Lifechanyuan. She felt that the knowledge offered by major religions and contemporary spiritual movements can no longer meet the deepening spiritual needs of people today. Instead, what people now yearn for is wisdom and spirituality that transcends the human world—like that of Lifechanyuan—which comes from higher-level life spaces.
