Resisting Tyranny – Part 17: The Evil of the Firewall

The firewall exists to stop ordinary people from seeing and hearing the world beyond their borders.
It blinds their eyes and plugs their ears—
leaving them at the mercy of the regime that distorts right and wrong, spreads lies, manipulates perception, and commits evil with impunity.

At the same time, it silences the people’s voices, cutting them off from the world—
all to conceal the regime’s crimes and cover up its brutality.

As long as the firewall stands, it is a declaration:
The regime sees itself as the enemy of the people and of civilization.
It shows its intent to continue controlling, oppressing, persecuting, and suppressing the people.
It means the regime will go on lying, fabricating, hiding the truth, and blocking the light of progress.
It means the people are still denied their basic human dignity—
reduced to tools for profit, cannon fodder, and human mines to be exploited.

Where information flows freely, people live in the bright light of day.
Where it is blocked, they live in darkness.
In every place ruled by tyranny, information is not free—
it is restricted, blocked, intercepted, and cut off.
The firewall is built precisely to keep the people in the dark,
so the regime can do its deeds unseen.

Why does the regime so deeply fear the free flow of information?
Because it fears the truth being revealed—
fears exposure of the crimes, scandals, and injustices it has committed.
It fears the people learning how they have been lied to, used, and abused.
It fears that once the truth is known, the people will no longer accept its rule—
and it will lose the power and privilege it has built on the backs of the people,
through oppression, plunder, extortion, and shameless abuse.

As the saying goes, “If you haven’t done anything wrong, you don’t fear ghosts knocking at your door.”
But when wrong has been done again and again, even a knock becomes terrifying.
Having committed so many evils against the people,
the regime fears justice—
so it builds a firewall, protects it fiercely, criminalizes those who scale it, and punishes them harshly.

Yet every citizen living under tyranny has the undeniable right to know what is happening in the world—
the right to access the truth about their past, their present, and their future.
Anyone who blocks that right is no ally—
they are agents of oppression, enemies of your freedom, enemies of your humanity.

When the evil regime is cast down from the stage of history,
those who built and maintained the firewall will face judgment.
The wall will be torn down, once and for all.
And the people will finally be free to browse the internet openly and fearlessly,
to access global information without obstruction,
to hear the wisdom of thinkers everywhere,
and to listen to the heartfelt voices of fellow citizens around the world.

That day will mark the dawn of a new era—
a world moving toward unity,
where the people of Earth are finally free to speak, to move, and to live in harmony across all lands.
